The Story
2020 was a hectic year in all aspects. I was not happy with my work or with how my life went. I needed a change; something completely different than what I knew. France had always been a dream. I love space, nature, and freedom, and France had all that.
The second half of the year had many surprises in store for me. I then learnt a great lesson that when you truly choose for yourself beautiful things start to happen: I fell in love, took a casual trip to France, and then I found this house. At first, I was hesitant about the place because I had a different region in mind. But as I came back to The Netherlands I couldn't stop thinking about it.
I made an offer on the house, and by May 2021 I got the keys. Since then owning La Colline has been a liberating and enriching experience for me. I get to meet many people from different parts of the world and enjoy the space and French country life.

I and Rashad manage this property together. You will find us here during the whole summer and some of the winter months. We would love to meet you, have a drink together, and share stories.
